I got in trouble...

Hello everyone. Today, as I do every weekend, I got a bath. As usual, I hated this and gave everyone the cold shoulder for the many hours that it took for me to dry. I was especially mad about this week's bath because I was planning on sitting in the Mommy's iris flower bed this afternoon, but since I was clean, I was in jeopardy of getting another bath if I sat in the flowers (there's a lot of dirt that transfers onto my fur when I sit in it). However, instead of just sitting in the flower bed another time (which in hindsight was a good idea), I decided to take my chances at sitting in the irises.

Now, for some context on the situation, I am a very furry pug. I have a double coat that I always get brushed to perfection (I know, it adds to my adorableness 😉), and it takes roughly 4-6 hours to completely dry out without getting blow dried. Since it was nice out and therefore not cold enough for the humans to bother with chasing me around with a horrible hair dryer, I was left to air out. This was one of the contributing factors to how the Katie was mad at me when she found out that I had sat in the irises and gotten dirty again, as my 4 hour drying period had just been concluded.

Anyways, back to the point. I was just settling down to take a nap in the flower bed when I heard the Katie looking for me. Not wanting to be caught sitting on all the flowers and squashing them (again), I quickly leapt out of the irises and onto the porch right as the Katie found me. I thought I was safe, until the Katie saw all of the dirt on me and consequently put me into the sink to get another bath. As of right now, I am in my crate with a fan to attempt to speed up the drying process. I have also gotten a lecture on the importance of staying clean, which I didn't pay attention to because honestly, I don't care about what the humans have to say. At the end of the day, they'll still say that I'm adorable. That's all I have to report for this week, and I will see y'all next time. Bye!
