We got an elevated bed!

Hello everyone! This week, we got an elevated bed for the back porch. A lot of you may not know this, but Rosie likes to lay on the hot concrete in the summertime for such long periods of time that she burns her own underbelly. I mean, she won't even come inside to cool down because she just loves roasting on the sun-heated concrete. (It's just one of the many things that I will never understand about her.) Anyways, to counteract Rosie's laying on the concrete, the hoomans ordered an elevated bed on the internet so that she can lay on there and roast less while I try to take it over.

So far, I can say that it is a very comfortable bed that is great for marking as base when trying to get out of doing my business in the backyard. Rosie also likes it, and I guess it's working for its intended purpose, as she has been laying on the concrete less recently and seeming less like a toasting hot dog. Sadly, the Katie didn't take a picture of us laying on the bed, but she did get this one of us hanging out in the yard.

Anyways, that's all I have to report this week. I don't know when I'll post again, as it just hasn't been bringing me joy recently. Also, it's summertime, and I want to be spending my time doing things that make me happy instead of continuing a hobby that has been seeming like just another box to check off on my to-do list.
