Rosie and I chewed up the Katie's shoes lol

Hello everyone! This week, Rosie and I have chewed up the Katie's shoes. While it was fun at first, I soon regretted my actions when the Katie got mad at me and Rosie. Allow me to explain...

For some background context, the Katie keeps a pair of flip flops on the backyard patio that she uses when she takes us rascals out into the yard for playtime. The flip flops are nothing special; they're the kind you would find at the Dollar Tree or Walmart. On the other hand, if you buy enough of them, the price adds up after a while. This is mostly why she got angry after seeing that the millionth pair of these flip flops were chewed, as she had to buy a lot of them when Rosie first joined the family, as Rosie had a slight chewing problem. (When I say slight, I really mean major, as she has chewed my tail, 2 pairs of Crocs, 10 flip flops, Katie's favorite earbuds, dozens of tennis balls, the bottom of the storm door, a rock, and a tree branch.) However, Rosie hasn't chewed shoes in a while, so the Katie thought that she was in the clear, and therefore didn't buy any extra shoes to replace the recently eaten ones. You can imagine her surprise when she saw the mangled mess of a flip flop hanging from Rosie's mouth and a piece of it in mine when she got home from school the other day.

Anyways, that day Rosie and I were pretty bored, as both of us were stubborn and didn't want to do our business in the backyard, so we had to sit outside and suffer in the 70 degree sunny weather. (I know- how simply atrocious.) Rosie started to chew on one of Katie's flip flops, and I thought that it looked kind of fun. One thing led to another, and pretty soon the entire shoe was strewn across the grass. Since we had nothing else to do, we just went back to sitting on the porch and proceeded to stare at the mess of a shoe. After that, the Katie got home and lectured us, and the rest is history. I am sort of remorseful about it all, but honestly, what can I say? I'm only 3 years old and I'm a pug, so it's not technically MY fault that I chewed the shoe. Besides, just because the security camera saw it doesn't mean anything- it could've been an imposter! Yes, that's it- I didn't do it because some other pug broke in and impersonated me chewing on it. I'll be sure to tell the Katie that later. Well, I'm going to go now, and I will see y'all next time. Bye!

(P.S. The Katie is trying to raise money to get braces for her teeth. Learn more and donate here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/rxqmva-help-me-get-braces?utm_campaign=p_cp_url&utm_medium=os&utm_source=customer )
