Summer has officially started!

Hello everyone! Summer has officially begun: the Katie is done with school, the weather is getting warmer, and I want to go to PetSmart.

(Okay, so maybe that last part is a year round thing.)

Anyways, the Katie has just completed her middle school career and is now moving on to high school. However, in the meantime before school starts up again, she has nothing to do, so I get to be with her all the time. Today, she made me and Rosie a matching bow and bandana. I don't really like bandanas, so that's why I opted to match Rosie with a bow. Look at us; don't we look great?

The weather has also gotten warmer recently, and we have been able to go on more frequent long walks. In fact, today we were able to go to a local fenced in field and launch tennis balls for Rosie to chase. I couldn't get off my leash, though, because while I get unconditional love, attention, food, and pampering by my people, I still want to run away every chance I get. I also like to ignore people calling my name when they need me. As a result of my predicament, I got bored quickly and cut our outing short by acting like I was going to die. However, the Katie is planning on taking us on more walks in the near future.
